Hello, after i have uploaded my fleet in cvs file the aircraft has no location yet. But if I manual add an aircraft I can choose its location and this is going to take along time is there a work around? Thanks Jerry

I like the division by tabs of the downloads section but I would like to make some suggestions as to what could be done to give a sub-division of the section like Aircraft Having all the Aircraft you can download from the Virtual Airline on what amounts to one page gives rise to fragmentation as repaints get done. You can start with an A320 repaint and do other types and then come back to another A320. It would be nice to be able to have subdirectories so that you can slot your aircraft into the same place as all the other A320's. As a precursor to this many Virtual Airlines support different simulators as does PHPVMS so it seems logical to have a major tab for each…

We all can agree that HTTP is not secure and anytime you login your username and password is sent in clear text. There have been several people try to add SSL to PHPVMS but have had alots of issues. I'm not sure what can be done to make SSL easier to use in the next gen version of PHPVMS but I an for it. I would go SSL if I could.

So I have been a member of a virtual airline that has been around since the tail end of 2000. I have been talking with them about a new website. The issues is, they have 1 main airline, 4 Divisions, and then hubs. How we are setup now in phpVMS we can create separate airlines and all kinds of hubs or an airline with as many hubs as we wish. So I am embarassed to say that as long as I have been with phpVMS (all but since day 1) I can not for the life of me figure out how to accomplish this task accordingly. I need 1 main airline. Under that main airline I need 4 divisions such as the Americas, Eupoean, Asian, then something such as over closer to Japan and dow…

Hi, im looking for a host to run a few separate instances of phpvms + Wordpress websites. my requirements: 4 Crew Centers 2 live phpvms 5.5.x 1 live phpvms 7 1 beta testing phpvms 7 currently all these are individually hosted, we would like to share a hosting solution. can anyone recommend a good host that will work with phpvms? Most have long contracts so I don’t want to make the wrong choice

Hi guys Finally managed to get everything working, big change coming from VAM to phpVMS I must say, but before I start bringing all my flights etc over, a quick question. How easy is it to add my Logo to the site, and to change all the blue colour to something else?

I am getting ready to take my phpVMS website live to replace my older VAM powered one. Question is, is there a way for me to enter my pilots transferred hours so they show as flight time and not transferred hours? Like manually editing the total in the database? Or possibly filing a manual PIREP with all the transferred hours? I'm just looking for a way for them to show up in a pilots hours, and not have it be listed under transferred hours. Long time no chit chat gents. Hope all is well! My first post back here in quite some time. Life has threw me a curve ball and I am ready to jump back in finally. Just curious, is Paid ACARS (not nagging at all about that Nabeel deserves all he gets for his work) the only option thus far besides manual PIREPS? I hate to start a new Startup and pour cash into it to possibly fizzle out. I suppose that is where manual pireps come in handy but I have polled MANY virtual pilots over the years and most will not join a VA that accepts manual pireps. Hi everyone Is there any possibility of STOP pilots doing unnecessary holdings which only purpose is to be AFK, nothing against with that, but question here is that such holding time ( in some cases of 1 & 2 hours ) are counting as flying hours which is not fare in my opinion. regards

Possibly a silly question from a phpvms V7. Sometimes when saving or doing other stuff on the website I get a 419 Page Expired. In this case particularly when trying to save the newly acquired VMS license, but it's not the only example. Any tips? What am I missing?

Add schedule with more than 1 aircraft type for the same flight and then the pilot can choose if he want to book the flight with i.e A320 ir A319 and display all registration of the aircraft avaible in the location airport. make a booking system where the aircraft and pilot stay in last position and he can book only if the pilot is in the same place with the aircraft (fs airlines system)

I currently have a heavily modified phpvms 2.6 deployment running our VA site. It's been absolutely fine over the years and runs with kacars v1 but I'm wanting to start use kacars v2. Clearly v2 won't run on our phpvms version and because most of the core is heavily modified, upgrading the phpvms version in situ is not possible, so I'll be developing from scratch to replace what we have once I'm ready. I've got v7.0 running on a Xampp dev environment on my local machine and I've run the installer and have the example info pulling in from the local mysql db correctly, so far so good. Is the Add/Remove bid feature working? I'm using 7.0.0 (build 180223-dd144c) and when I press the icon for add/remove bid, nothing is happening. No errors are recorded in any logs that I can find.

Changing a Pilot's ID using the new phpVMS 7 Changing pilot's default ID's is something which we need to be able to do, to easily manage our phpVMS system and subsequent flight logging system. When a pilot joins the VA, they are assigned a Callsign (which will be the same as their ID on our phpVMS webpage) and once they were registered on our phpVMS 5 website we could quite easily change their IDs to the one they have been assigned. This helped when it came to identifying pilots and dealing with promotions. I am wondering whether anyone may be thinking of producing a widget/addon to do this. I have already tried to edit pilot's IDs manually in the phpMyAdmin pan…

I'm very apprehensive about eventually moving from 5.5.2 to v7. Although after playing with the demo version I'm really enjoying the new features. I did have a concern however. At least in the current state, I don't see many cargo/freight specific options as most everything looks to more for a passenger airline. How would we set the fares for freighters? Would we have a single fare class for general freight to the max payload of the aircraft? I don't know if this would have any advantages, but I guess we could set multiple fare categories for main deck cargo and belly cargo for dedicated freighter aircraft. Any thoughts or guidance about cargo only VA's running phpvms v7?

First of all I have to say PHPVMS 7 is such a huge leap forward, I cant help but be excited. Coming from 5.5 this is a huge breath of fresh air. Seems like many features previously requiring heavy mods are now native to phpvms, which is great. One thing that appears to be missing is the ability to limit Route types to a certain rank. My airline is one of many which operates in such fashion, rather than limit aircraft to a certain rank, we limit the distance the pilots can fly. Would this be a desirable feature to be implemented in phpvms?

Hi Guys Not used PHPVms for a long time, but decided to give it a try and again. Am I right in saying that if I want ACARS with point scoring, I need to pay £45 for the software? Or I can use vmsAcars 7.0 free download to just record basic flight information with no point scoring?

Hello, If anyone may be able to help with this issue then that would be greatly appreciated. So as for the issue we have Recaptcha working but some bots/spam users keep registering with the same email types from russia. Emails that keep signing up: @dizaer.ru @yandex.com Ive also attached an image showing that our recaptcha is indeed working, but all the green passes in the image are the spambots. So these bots are either able to get through the tests or they are not actually bots and its people just spamming the site. When importing a flight will the flight distance be calculated during the import? I tried both a 0 in the field and also leaving it blank in the import file, but the distance was not calculated when viewing the flight on the admin page after the import. Thanks, Bryan
