How can I create a page with airport data? For example: Table with: Airport Name, Airport ICAO, Country, Latitude, Longitude, Fuel Price, Airline Schedules from or to the airport.

Hi all. I've just been advised that I need to migrate my hosting - I've purchased new hosting and I'm currently in the process of backing up our VA's website however I'm unsure of what the process to 'restore' the new site to the new hosting entails. Could anyone offer some insight in what's required, what needs to be set up on the new hosting and what's required to bring all the databases and files across in functioning order? We're running Sim Pilots phpVMS 5.5 and the hosts php version has been set to 5.5 but outside of this, I'm not aware of what else I need to change or set up. Any help is appreciated. Brendan.

How can I limit the amount of flight plans (schedules) listed when searching for flight plans? before I added schedules to my site that was NOT a problem, had only a few of them... BUT! Now I have added more than 1,300 schedules and the list is just Too BIG!!! I would like to list in chuncks of 25 for example, or 12, maybe 15 in a page format at a time, not all of them. Is it posible in phpvms to do this, and where is the config file to do it? local.config or app.config? have been searching them, but can´t find any reference to accomplish this.

G'day Guys, I have recently appointed a dev guy within my VA, and I'm trying to allow him access to the dev site to work. Currently i have setup the account so he can access the files, but he can also access the local.config.php, and other sensitive files that contain passwords and information i don't want him to get at, how can i prevent him from accessing these files ? i have tried the permissions but that doesn't seem to stop the account. I setup the ftp account through my host's cpanel option. I can see that i can password protect a directory, but why not a file ? I'm not sure you guys have done this before but if someone has, any help would be great. Cheers Tylo…

IE is Internet Explorer, which is pure trash. When using it, pilots can't log in and file PIREPS. Has anybody else experienced problems? (I used Firefox for the whole process, but somebody said they couldn't acess the pilot center, so I think they are using IE, which doesn't work well.)

Hi guys, When i add an airport it normally changed the lattitude/longtitude and the Airport name... When i fetch, it only checks the fuel pricing and the rest is nog filled in. Anyone else has this problem? Regards, Lucas

Hi folks A search didn't bring up anything relevant, so can anyone help? As of yesterday Firefox only displays my site (www.palegrevirtual.com) as plain text, with no layout or images. IE, Opera and Chrome all display correctly, but not Firefox, even with all add-ons disabled. The only admin activity on the site has been to add more routes, nothing in the structure has changed recently, so I'm at a loss to understand this. I doubt that this is an error caused by phpvms, but perhaps there is something in the coding that I could change to ensure compatibility with all browsers? None of my pilots use FF so it's not an immediate issue, but when we officially open in January…

Hi Nabeel. I followed Rogers tutorial on skinning and I did my forgot password like he did his. Great little tip indeed So I proceeded to do that to a couple other pages as well, like file new pirep and login. Well, on all extra pages (file pirep and login), I get this for users online Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/lib/skins/Storm/login_form.tpl on line 32 But yet on my home page it works just fine. When I search a schedule on the schedules the page goes to action.php/schedules/view and it is missing the skin..it is just a white page with the flight information and it is the only page that I have found that does this...this happened after I put in a new skin...any ideas? Thnx

Hello Gent's today our site has a hick-up because of some weird registrations. Looks like that a script at registrations forms used to enable some pop-ups. I found only that at my sql pilot's table: looks like that no other files were affected. I disabled registration for the moment until a solution is found. - Any ideas? Sorry for bad english . . .
