Hi all, I am not sure but I think I may have found a way to generate Schedules for phpVMS, although I have hit a bit of a problem I know nothing about how to set the exported file from UA which is a .UTT file extention. I have dicovered that the file can be opened with excel but I have no clue how to set it up to be a .CSV file or how to get all the required fields in to the right table format. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. If I can get this to work I will do a file dump of all the routes and Aircraft so you will be able to download it and choose which Schedules you would like and upload it to your VA. You will still be able to add your own routes but if…

How easy is it to create a seperate page for each of my hubs in the pilots list. I have three hubs and would like to have from the pilots list the ability to select a hub from either a dropdown menu or from a link to page.?

Currently I have a skin setup that has drop downs. For example when you put your mouse over operations it will drop down and show a list of pages. Is there a way to put your mouse over one of the pages and have a submenu/dropdown to the right? For example I want to add Forms under Operations and when you hover over forms it will give you a list of forms to click on.

Hi, After the success of creating my website , I was onto the next hurdle , creating an ACARS application. I do not wish to use any application that has already been created (eg KACARS). Writing the program is not my issue, my main concern is sending the data to phpvms, so that it can receive the PIREP and process it. Could someone point me in the right direction ? Thanks, Arun

Good Day everyone! Recently, I have designed a website and I want to connect crew center to it via a link. My problem is that I have been trying to figure out for 2 days on how to install crew center onto my subdomain without getting tons of errors. Can anyone take the time to properly write a step-by-step explanation on how to install the crew center skin onto my phpvms website. I have read Mark's installation instructions but I cant seem to comprehend those thanks!

Hi again I did a flight this afternoon on SmartCARs, and finished, clicked 'File PIREP' and SmartCARS confirmed PIREP filing. I checked on the website. It hadn't. So I attempted to file a Manual PIREP, returning this error: There was an error adding your PIREP : Schedule does not exist. Please update this manually. The entire form was filled out completely correctly, and I have retried multiple times. I found a similar situation somewhere else, and that lead me to discover my local.config.php seems to be truncated. I tried reinstalling phpvms elsewhere, but that also returned a truncated local.config.php My local.config.php is attached, if …

Hello, I am having a weird issue with phpVMS and it counting PIREPs. It is able to count the hours just fine from the PIREPs submitted however it just sets the PIREPs for all pilots to 0. I also have this from the cron script as an error. Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in /home/gocanair/public_html/core/common/StatsData.class.php on line 171 I am guessing that could be causing the issue. When the CRON job runs the following error happens: A non well formed numeric value encountered in ..........VMS/core/common/StatsData.class.php on line 171 It continues running and does the following" Reset PIREP Counts Updating Total Hours Count (question is always shows "found 1 flight hours for number" regardless of number of hours a pilot has - is this correct?) Now counting from PIREPS - Found 125774:08:00 total hours, updated Any fixes for the error?

G'day Guys, How would i go about using a cron jod to export a particular row from a database table, what i would like it to do is create a text file on our server that will update itself everyday with all the members vatsim ID's. Which will then automatically update our vroute community to ensure it is kept up-to-date. A delema i have with this is in the phpvms_fieldvalues table i have 2 fields in use, one for transfer hours and another for the vastim ID, how would i go about ensuring that the column that has a fieldID of 1 gets inserted into this text document ? I have bought Auto Flight Assignments from Crazy creative, I cant set the cron and those guy are not there for support. How would I go about setting up the below cron job, or can anyone direct myself to any tutorials on how. Our VA runs phpVMS Version simpilot 5.5.2 Cron If you have the ability, it's best to setup a cron-job to run the maintenance script. The command to add is: php -f /home/canadaai/public_html/admin/maintenance.php It's recommended to run this sometime between 2-6am (pick an artibrary time when you would least-likely have any flights). Also, remember to change in local.config.php, USE_CRON to true, so phpVMS doesn't try to automatically schedule these tasks to run. Note: If you setup the cron to run, it's recommended to also run it by hand …

Hi, the maintenance script is planed as a cronjob every day at 01:00 am and it worked for 2 years now. But I noticed, that the script stopped marking pilots as retired. Only when I manually start the script by entering the url in the navbar the pilots are inactive. Anybody can help?

After doing a global search and replace for the site's URL, changing it from domain_1.dom/folder to domain_2.dom, everything functions, but the CSS. The base URL was changed properly, all the pages and their content are there, it is just that none of the CSS for the skin being used, is evident. The pointers to the domain and DNS all appear to be as they should be. Anyone have an idea? Excuse the noise. I figured it out. I use Cloudflare for both domain_1 and domain_2. Both are set to prevent hotlinking, so when I changed the URL, none of the images were displayed.

All of a sudden phpvms/my site will not load the CSS. It shows this error in Firefox's error module: Outdoor.css was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html" is not "text/css" Everything was working fine earlier today. Quick help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've installed phpVMS 7.0 and I've got a problem in the css file directory. When I'm on phpvms/index.php, the css file directory are phpvms/index.php/public/assets/... but the good file directory is phpvms/public/assets/... I've tried to go on phpvms/ and it works fine for the css, but the redirection to installer (phpvms/index.php/install ) don't work because there is no index.php in file directory. How can I do ? I think this is only a problem of css file redirection but which files call these css files ? Kind regards
